Ashton Blaise Whitty's birthday is 1 October in Berkeley, California. Her most well-known role is as an actress, having appeared in Choices (2011), The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2004) as well as Chrissie Mair's Content House.

Asia's deeply absorbed and aggressive style of acting was well-used in Giuseppe Piccioni's Condannato a Nozze in 1993. was a co-star in the film Perdiamoci di Vista where she portrayed Arianna who was a disabled girl. This was an intricate and difficult character that earned she the David di Donatello for best actress . Patrice Chereau was the director. Queen Margot as well. She also had an appearance as a physically disabled girl in the movie. In 1995, her collaboration alongside Michel Piccoli, in Peter Del Monte's Traveling Companion won her yet another award, this time the David di Donatello and Grolla of Oro. In 1994 Asia decided to try her hand at filmmaking and made two short films: Prospettive In 1996 she produced a documentary about her father and, in 1998, one on legendary director Abel Ferrara, Abel/Asia (1998) that was awarded an award at the Rome Film Festival. Asia directed her debut feature in Scarlet Diva (2000). The film was a collaboration between Asia as well as screenwriter/actress Linda McCartney. The film was released in May 2000 both in Italy, and throughout the globe. It was awarded a trophy during the Williamsburg International Film Festival in Brooklyn. Anna Lou, her first child was born in the year 2001. She has directed numerous music videos. In 2002 Asia appeared on The Red Siren with Jean Marc Barr, and Rob Cohen's Action-Thrille, directed by Vin Diesel. Asia has also written several short stories which have been published by a number of magazines.
