Asia Argento and Ashton Whitty

Ashton Blaise Whitty is an American actress who was born in Berkeley on the 1st of October 1995. She is an actress of renown who has appeared in Choices (2010). The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2006,) and Chrissie mayr's Content House.

Asia Argento, born in Rome to a family which comprises directors and actors was a professional in both fields. Sogni e bisogni, directed by Sergio Citti and starring Asia Argento, at nine, was her debut film. She played the lead as Cristina Comencini in her first film Zoo, 1988. Michele Soavi directed The Church 1989. In 1989, she portrayed Nanni Moretti's child in Red Wood Pigeon. (Also directed by Moretti). Close Friends (1992), written and directed by Michele Placido was the film which launched Asia's career career. She was able move from roles of a young girl to mature and complex ones. Cannes International Film Festival received the film well. She has made three films with her dad, Trauma, The Stendhal syndrome and Phantom of the Opera. The Phantom of the Opera marks her third collaboration alongside her dad. The others are Trauma as well as The Stendhal Syndrome. Giuseppe Piccioni's Condannato A Nozze demonstrated Asia's intense manner of playing. In 1993, she portrayed Arianna in Carlo Verdone's Perdiamoci di vista. The role was in which she was so intricate that she earned the David di Donatello award as the most outstanding actress. Also, she was a part of the role in the international cast of Queen Margot produced by Patrice Chereau. She also starred in a film with Michel Piccoli as Traveling Companion as played by Peter Del Monte. This role won her both a David di Donatello (for the best actor) and an award from Grolla of Oro. Asia started directing short films in the year 1994. Two of them were made: Prospettive, 1996, she directed a documentary about her father, and Abel/Asia in 1998, about the famous film director Abel Ferrara. This latter was presented at the Rome Film Festival. Asia's feature-length debut was Scarlet Diva (2000) in 1999. In it, she played the role of lead actress and also wrote the screenplay. The film was released on May 20 on the 20th of May in Italy along with all over the world. The film was honoured by the Williamsburg Festival of Brooklyn, New York. Anna Lou was her first born child in the year 2001. After the directing of several music videos, she welcomed Anna Lou. The year 2002 saw Asia in The Red Siren with Jean Marc Barr, and Rob Cohen's Action thriller, which was directed by Vin Diesel. Asia is the author of numerous short stories which were published in a variety of magazines.
